This lake has matured over the years and is now a stunning place to fish. Carp go to mid 30s, the lake record is 37lb 4oz [tench leather]. Many of the carp are named so if you are lucky enough there is aways someone around to share its name and a tale of its capture
The tench and bream fishing has been reported by angling times as one of the best in the country. Tench go into double figures as do the bream.
